The Corn Barn, Devon

30 June 2016 - 30 June 2016

We are thrilled to be back again this summer to the beautifully restored Corn Barn in Devon, bringing a spot of opera comedia to rural Devon. After the success of our production of Rossini's L'Italiana in Algeri here last summer, we are sure audiences will be delighted by our new summer production, also by Rossini, with his famous farcical comedy Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville)!

Join us here on Thursday 30th July, 7.30pm

Tickets are £20 (£10 for children) and are available to purchase directly from Yta Batchelor at the Corn Barn via 01884 32107 or, or online here.

Venue Information

The Corn Barn, Devon

The Corn Barn is a beautifully restored barn, full of charm and immense character. It has a high vaulted ceiling, exposing the original oak beams, making a magnificent setting for the opera. It is set in its own south facing courtyard, onto which all windows and doors look out upon and includes a waterwheel. The majority of the barn is 18th century, although there are older and younger parts, due to modern farming techniques the barn became redundant and now serves as a fantastic venue, with a super ambiance, after being renovated in 2010. There is a bar, which has been made from the wood off the farm.
