*Founded in 1987, Cancerkin (since February 2016 part of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres) was the first dedicated holistic breast cancer charity to be based on a hospital site, The Royal Free, in North London. Established to improve the quality of life for people affected by cancer, we offer emotional and practical support throughout the trauma of diagnosis, treatment and the aftermath to anyone who is affected by cancer, their families and friends. We pride ourselves on the quality and wide variety of support services we offer, including a diverse range of complementary therapies, a variety of emotional and practical support services and the only free, breast cancer related Lymphoedema Clinic in the UK.
The Peter Samuel Hall is a purpose built theatre located on the 1st floor, above the medical school at the Royal Free Hospital. With its own grand piano, the theatre sees a range of events and productions to bring learning, love and laughter to the hospital grounds.
