Pop-up Opera have great links with the communities of Herefordshire, having toured to this county since the company began. It is wonderful to be returning to Kingsland Church again this summer. After the success of our Rossini production here last summer, we are certain to delight audiences again this year as we return with one of Rossini’s most famous farcical comedies, Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville)!

St Michael & All Angels Church, Kingsland

St Michael & All Angels Kingsland is Grade 1 listed and was built between 1290 and 1310 by the powerful Mortimer family. It is set in the centre of the village behind the village green and is considered to be ‘One of the most interesting and complete decorated churches in the north of the county’.
