Come and enjoy an evening of opera and wine, as we perform Bizet's beautiful operetta at Knightor Winery, an equally beautiful setting!
The performance will take place in the upstairs of the threshing barn. The vaulted ceiling and exposed stone walls will give excellent acoustics whilst the limited number of seats will make for an intimate performance and interaction between cast and audience..

First recorded as a settlement in 1305 as "Creghtyer", in Cornish meaning ‘wrinkled land’, this picturesque spot then became the site of Knightor Manor, a grand house demolished during the 19th century. Set in the beautiful Cornish landscape this smallholding now consists of a traditional courtyard of granite barns. The opera will take place in the main barn; a handsome example of typical late 18th or early 19th century multi-purpose farm building incorporating both a shippon and a threshing barn.
