We are thrilled to be touring to Manchester for the first time with our Spring 2016 tour, especially due to the links with several of our singers and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. We are especially excited to perform at such a unique and fitting venue; the Engine House at The International Anthony Burgess Foundation, is a converted mill space and the industrial and intimate feel here will create the perfect atmosphere for our Italian gang rivalry setting, of Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi.
Join us here for the final performance of our tour, on Saturday 7th May, 8pm
Doors open from 7.30pm where a bar and cafe is available.
Tickets are available to buy online here or direct from the Anthony Burgees Foundation cafe, located on site.
The International Anthony Burgess Foundation encourages and supports public and scholarly interest in all aspects of the life and work of Anthony Burgess. Based in Manchester, England, we have an extensive library, archive and study centre containing Burgess’s books, music and papers. We also have a performance venue where we present new work by writers, artists and musicians; The Engine House. The Engine House is a unique venue within one of Manchester’s oldest mill buildings. The high-quality conversion combines original architectural features, modern facilities and even Burgess’s own furniture and musical instruments which creates a distinctive location for events.
