Fiona Johnston

Co-director, Stage Manager

Fiona graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a First Class Honours degree in History and History of Art, gaining the departmental award for outstanding results. Since then Fiona has pursued her interests in the arts and cultural sector through a number of positions. She worked as Costume Assistant for the filming of Song for Marion (Paul Andrew Williams), and as Props Assistant for Lady From the Sea, The Second Mrs Tanqueray and Smack Family Robinson (The Rose Theatre, Kingston). After completing an internship in education, events and marketing at Handel House Museum she took up a position as a freelance Consultant for The Geffrye Museum, assisting in areas of exhibition design, fundraising, education and museum development. Fiona also spent two years working front of house at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

After touring as Stage Manager with Pop-up Opera for their production of L’elisir d’amore in Spring 2012, she began working with Clementine Lovell as Assistant Producer in September of that year.
