Camilla Bull

Mezzo soprano

A native of the Isle of Wight, Camilla studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, with Annette Thompson. Since graduating, she has worked across the UK and Europe - music festivals in Ponte de Lima (Portugal) and Anghiari (Italy) and with UK companies; Opera at Home Witch/Hansel and Gretel, Opera South East Orpheus/Gluck's Orpheus and Euridice, Scarlet Opera Polinesso/Ariodante. She continues to study with Robert Dean.

With ENO's Opera Works, Camilla worked with Marcello Magni, founder of Complicité, Christian Curnyn, John Berry and enjoyed performance opportunities on the ENO stage and venues such as the National Portrait Gallery.

Camilla has appeared with Grange Park Opera in Eugene Onegin, Queen of Spades and I Puritani. Most recently, roles have included Cherubino/Le Nozze di Figaro, creating the Nurse for the premiere of 'Clive' with Gestalt Arts and Maddalena/Rigoletto (Opera Brava). Isabella is her debut role with Pop Up Opera.
