"As the casino owner, Bruno Loxton is a faded Lothario, an unlikeable buffoon but with a gorgeous singing voice that rumbled through the underground chamber very pleasantly." - Bargain Theatreland, L’Italiana in Algeri

"Bruce Loxton's Mustafa did most of the heavy lifting for laughs" - Broadway World, L’Italiana in Algeri

"Bruno Loxton proves an excellent Mustafa with a robust and weighty bass voice that positively reverberates around the chamber." - Music OMH, L’Italiana in Algeri

"His deep baritone rang through the venue and the lascivious glint in his eye had the audience in stiches (no mean feat for opera!)" - West End Wilma, L’Italiana in Algeri

"Bruno Loxton was fantastic as Mustafa. He attacked the over-ornamented style of Rossini for comic value, and was a perfect suave, then a perfect letch, then a perfect idiot, before his comeuppance." - Planet Hugill, L’Italiana in Algeri
