Berrak Dyer studied for her undergraduate, and then completed her masters in Piano Accompaniment with a first at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Caroline Palmer and Andrew West. She worked on projects with Ian Burnside, Graham Johnson, and worked with Laura Sartiextensively. She then went on to study at the National Opera Studio. She traveled widely throughout Europe, England and Turkey, taking part in competitions and concerts. Her most notable concerts being in Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, St John’s Smith Square, St Martin in the Fields, Gumusluk (Turkey) and St. Peter & St.Sigfrid’s (Stockholm). Berrak took part in the BarbirolliCompetition, and was the winner of the Aria Competition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Berrak has performed with Chelsea Opera Group,Charities Philharmonia, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Commonwealth Youth Orchestra. She has performed in the Wigmore Hall Lecture Recital Series with Julian Philips, City of London Festival and has worked as an Accompanist at Oxenfoord International Summer School. She has also played formasterclasses with Joyce DiDonato at the Royal Opera House. In April 2012 Berrak joined the Solti Academy forRepetiteur’s in Italy where she worked with Pamela Bullock, Audrey Hyland, Tony Legge and Jonathan Papp. After which she was invited to the Georg Solti Academy for Singers as a repetiteur formasterclasses with Dennis O'Neill and AngelaGheorghiu.
Berrak debuted as a repetiteur on Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Hampstead Garden Opera), and then went on to work on Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia (British Youth Opera) with Peter Robinson, Viktor Ullmann’sDer Kaiser von Atlantis (Grimeborn), Idomeneo(Forest Bird Productions), Handel’s Furioso(Grimeborn), Captain Blood’s Revenge(Glyndebourne), Opera Naked (Unexpected Opera, associate music director), Hansel and Gretel (Opera in Space) and Glyndebourne Youth Opera. This year she joins the music staff of Opera Holland Park for LaFancuilla del West and has upcoming projects with Unexpected Opera, Pop-Up Opera and Glyndebourne.
